Andrea Corr

Andrea Jane Corr (MBE) is an Irish singer, songwriter also a musician, actor and singer. Corr first made her appearance in 1990, singing lead singer for The Corrs, a Celtic rock and pop-rock group The Corrs with Caroline Sharon Jim as well as their three elder siblings. Andrea Corr is Irish singer-songwriter musician. She is best known as her lead vocalist in The Celtic-folk, pop rock and Celtic folk group The Corrs. She plays multiple musical instruments, and sings for The Corrs. Debuting as an actor in 1991 Andrea then became a talented musician and a stage artist. She performed the playback in Warner Bros.' 1998 animated feature film The Quest for Camelot. Andrea's career as an artist is multifaceted. Andrea has received awards by her charity work as well. Andrea's stockbroker husband as well as two children are hers. Andrea started her musical lessons through learning how to play the tin whistle. Gerry helped her learn to play the piano. Andrea also is a ukulele player. Her musical abilities were developed during her teenage years. She would sing with her brothers and was eventually promoted to the position of the lead singer of the group. Andrea was a pupil in Dun Lughaidh Convent and participated in many school productions.
