Angela Evelyn Bassett, an American actress is well known for her work in film and on television since the mid 1980s. The actress has won numerous honors, such as the Golden Globe Award, and sixteen NAACP Image Award. She is known for her roles in TV and film from the mid-80s onwards, she's been awarded numerous awards including two Golden Globe Awards and sixteen NAACP Image Awards in addition to nominations for two Academy Awards and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett was brought up by her aunt in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Her birthplace was and grew up at home in New York New York. When Bassett was about five She and her sister relocated into St. Petersburg, Florida to stay with their mother who was been divorced from her father. Bassett decided to be an actress after seeing the play Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, starring James Earl Jones. Yale University New Haven Connecticut was where she earned her bachelor's in African American and master's degrees (1983). She was introduced to Courtney B. Vance, an actress who was also at Yale and they were married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. The Yale School of Drama awarded an M.A. in Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett in the year 1980. She attended the school following: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for 7th graders, Azalea Middle School for 8th and 9th grades in addition to Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett, who plays Ramonda the lead female character in the film adventure I. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).
